About
Late last year, the European Commission adopted its long-term climate strategy with the goal of creating a “prosperous, modern, competitive, and climate-neutral economy” by 2050. The strategy focuses on investments in technology, greater citizen participation, and the coordination of measures in key sectors such as industry and finance.
But the long-term climate strategy also raises questions: What does the strategy mean for businesses? How can we promote sustainable growth while remaining competitive? From what other perspectives can this European approach be viewed?
Together with our partners, ICC Germany, Deutsche Post DHL Group, and the BDI, we invite you to the event “Spotlight on Europe: An Approach to Foster Sustainable Growth and Secure a Competitive Environment for Business.” The event will take place on June 25, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Post Tower in Bonn as a side event of the mid-term UNFCCC Climate Conference.
