About
On September 10, we will meet for the third time to discuss international climate policy and its impact on the German economy. This topic continues to gain in urgency and relevance: The UN Climate Summit will take place in New York on September 23, 2019. UN Secretary-General António Guterres aims to bring together heads of state and high-level representatives from business and civil society to mobilize efforts at the highest possible level. Following the regular schedule, the 25th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) will then take place in Chile in December 2019.
ICC Germany and econsense, together with you and other partners, aim to create a discussion platform and provide insights into the current state of negotiations and the business community’s climate activities through the event “The German Economy in the Context of International Climate Policy” on September 10, 2019, in Essen.
The event will take place at thyssenkrupp AG in Essen (thyssenkrupp AG, thyssenkrupp Allee 1, 45143 Essen). Participation is free of charge, but requires confirmation of registration from ICC Germany, which will be sent a few days after you register.
