CSR Workshop for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises at Aurubis in Hamburg

With support from the BMAS, econsense and UPJ are organizing regional workshops on sustainable supply chain management for small and medium-sized enterprises.

At the opening of the workshop, Susanne Hoffmann, Head of Department VI “European and International Employment and Social Policy, ESF” at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, spoke about the German government’s expectations of companies in addressing sustainable global challenges, as well as the associated challenges and opportunities.

Under the title “Creating Value Responsibly from Raw Materials – Metals for an Innovative World,” Michaela Hessling, Head of Corporate Communications, and Kirsten Kück, Head of Sustainability, presented Aurubis’ sustainability strategy and management.

In three subsequent workshops, participants explored in depth the opportunities, challenges, and practical implementation issues related to responsible and transparent supply chains.
