About
On November 5, 2018, the event “30 Days Before COP24 – The German Economy on the Eve of the UN Climate Negotiations in Katowice, Poland” took place at thyssenkrupp in Essen. Together with thyssenkrupp, HSBC Germany, Siemens, EY, E.ON, BDI, DIHK, and VCI, econsense once again participated in this year’s event organized by ICC Germany to prepare for the UN climate negotiations in Katowice in early December.
With approximately 120 experts from business, academia, civil society, and politics, various topics related to the climate negotiations—such as climate finance, effective societal dialogue, and instruments of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change—were discussed and explored in depth.
