E.ON wants to further reduce the emissions they can directly influence and become climate neutral by 2040. To achieve this, E.ON will reduce its own emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 75 per cent by 2030 and by 100 per cent by 2040 compared to 2019. Compared to 2019, E.ON aims to reduce emissions from customers (Scope 3) by 50 percent by 2030 and by 100 percent by 2050.
