SDGs and Digital Transformation

In the Agenda 2030 the United Nations formulated 17 concise goals for a global sustainable development. With 169 targets all dimensions of sustainability are considered - from the fight against hunger and poverty, to the protection of the climate and water as well as the promotion of innovation and responsible production patterns. The SDGs are a global challenge for all stakeholders: states, civil society, science and business need to contribute. Companies are repositioning their business strategies accordingly and are defining how they can specifially contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. Digital innovations are an important catalyst on the way towards a sustainable development.
